Stewards To Invoke Level 2 Hot Weather Policy - Gilgandra (Saturday)
Due to the forecast temperature of 40 degrees for the race meeting at GILGANDRA on Saturday, 10th February 2018, Racing NSW Stewards will invoke the Level 2 'Racing in Hot Weather' Policy.
Provisions include limited parade times for horses and riders, use of cooling methods (including the Racing NSW cooling device, iced water buckets, additional hoses), a second veterinarian and limiting arrival times for horses to be on course to one hour prior to their respective races.
