Stables Available At Moree Racecourse - Expressions of Interest

Expressions of Interest are now open for 10-12 permanent stables located on the racecourse at Moree, with access to all racing and training facilities.

Moree Race Club has recently completed upgrades to the irrigation system with the entire track watered by an automatic irrigation system.

The Club is able to provide grass, cinders and dirt tracks, as well as an artesian water swimming pool and a six-horse walker.

Moree Race Club is located in the Hunter & North West Racing Region in North Western NSW and is within four hours travel or less to racecourses such as Tamworth, Gunnedah, Quirindi, Coonabarabran, Dubbo, Inverell and Armidale.

Not too far further are tracks such as Scone and Muswellbrook, and only four hours travel to Toowoomba and Warwick in South East Queensland.

Moree Race Club conducts six race meetings annually including the Moree Cup Country Showcase Meeting in September, with $300,000 in prizemoney, featuring the $55,000 Moree Cup and a $50,000 Super Maiden.

Moree is also the heart of the Golden Triangle Picnic Series held in May and June each year.

The Club would be particularly interested in a trainer who may have a trackwork rider that would move with them to the track and is able to take on additional track riding work.

Expressions of interest can be emailed to the Moree Race Club Secretary, Michelle Gobbert at office@moreeraceclub.com.au
