Hometown trainer Donna Scott seemingly has the horse power to strike a couple of times at Albury on Monday with two strong contenders lining up in the same race.
Scott will start debutant Lord Of Valor, a mount for leading jockey Blaike McDougall, in the Book Your Christmas Race Day Now Country Boosted Maiden Hcp (1000m).

Lord Of Valor ran second in his only trial and is a son of dual winner Ilovethislady who is a daughter of Cashed Up Lady who Scott also prepared late in the mare’s career.
Lord Of Valor has the pedigree to perform well at his home track, but so does the other debutant Under Wraps (trained by Danny Beasley) who was an easy winner of his only trial at Wagga.
“I have a few nice chances at Albury. Hold This is a good hope who will improve on his debut second,” she said.
“Keith looks well placed and Strategic Defense has won her past two at Albury over 1500 and 1600 metres.
“With her she gets the same track and same distance, but gets up in grade.
“I would probably lean the way of Keith of those two. He has a bit more racing under his belt and if he holds his form from last start he will run well.
“It’s a bit of a sticky draw for him (gate 11), but he normally goes to the lead and runs a long.”
Wagga trainer Michael Travers will have three runners against Scott in the Bur Real Estate Country Boosted Benchmark 58 (1600m).
His trio will be led by Gold Tracker and Star Empire Cinephile the least fancied in the market.
“Star Empire has John Kissick back on board and he won two starts ago over a mile at Wagga,” Travers said.
“Gold Tracker is finding form and this is the happiest I have been with him going into a race for a little bit.
“Cinephile is struggling to find form since winning at Wagga.”
Lost Ya Sock took 19 starts to win her first race, but made it two straight at Wagga on October 31.
Raced by a mainly all ladies syndicate Lost Ya Sock has never raced in better form.
Tis No Man won his maiden at just his second start and looks a progressive type capable of figuring after winning over 1460 metres at Queanbeyan.
Wagga mentor Danny Beasley has a few strong chances including Light Foot who will wear blinkers for the first time in the Yackandandah Park Benchmark 66 (1000m).
He will also saddle up winning hopes Under Wraps and Donegal Bay.
Light Foot will oppose brilliant last start winner Calais Bliss.
The mare has raced twice for current trainer Maddison Collins winning by almost seven lengths at Corowa.
