Sapphire Coast Turf Club Donates To Youth Development Fund

Last Saturday week during Pambula Cup Raceday, Sapphire Coast Turf Club made a generous donation of $11,500 to the Sapphire Coast Youth Development Fund.

The Youth Development Fund is a not-for-profit organisation committed to supporting young individuals, aged 18 and under, who face personal challenges that prevent them from reaching their full potential in their chosen fields.

The Fund provides essential financial assistance to help these young people pursue their dreams and aspirations.

Before presenting the cheque, SCTC was informed that this donation was the largest single contribution ever made to the charity.

SCTC would like to express its sincere gratitude to Joseph Jones Racing for their donation of three 5% shares in a racehorse, as well as Racing NSW for their generous donation of a day at The Star Championships (Royal Randwick) for four people, and Paintspection for donating a cut sapphire.

These were great prizes to the Club's fundraising auction at the Bega Cup Calcutta which made this contribution possible.

The cheque was presented by Sapphire Coast Turf Club's CEO Rob Tweedie, and President Mike Walcott, to Chairman Ron Finneran, Jill Goodchild and Wayne Tuckfield from the Sapphire Coast Youth Development Fund.
