Roads Update On Moruya's Race Meeting (Sunday)

Racing NSW has received advice that the Kings Highway (road connecting ACT to Moruya) is currently closed and will remain closed over the weekend, including Sunday.

Accordingly, horses travelling from the ACT/Queanbeyan region will be required to use the Monaro Highway, via Bega to participate at this meeting.

Given the additional travel time this will involve, any trainer that scratches their horse from this meeting due to the excessive travel times will not be required to pay the scratching fee.

Further, participants travelling to Moruya via the Princess Highway are advised to allow additional travel time due to significant roadworks being undertaken due to recent fires and the holiday season.
