Olivia Pickering Claims Her First Rising Star Series Win

Apprentice Olivia Pickering celebrated her first Rising Star Series victory by winning heat 15 at Port Macquarie on Thursday.
Pickering won on $19 Central Witness who scored narrowly from Jenny Duggan (Acoustix, $4.40) and Tigeen (Samantha Clenton, $3.20 favourite).

Despite finishing unplaced on Northern Knight ($9), Qin Yong maintains the Series lead with 44 points.
Samantha Clenton has moved to second spot with 25 points, and Yvette Lewis is third with 22 points.
Heat 16 will be run at Warwick Farm on Wednesday 25th March.
