Race 1 - 1:00PM TMFM 95.5 BENCHMARK 66 HANDICAP (2100 METRES) |

3. Sebilla is a progressive mare who was strong late from the front in winning second-up over a mile at Scone. Bred to be most effective on rain-affected ground, but firm track form still more than handy. Will run the longer trip out well, and the stablemate being preferred at Mudgee on Sunday was a further pointer. 2. Taipan Legend was very well backed before dominant from the front in landing a CL2 here second up off a shorter break, and all three career wins from 22 starts have come on dry ground. Scratched from Sunday’s Mudgee meeting to be saved for this. 5. Storm Park is also banging on the door deep into the prep after twice being beaten only by the smart Bellini Spritz. Drawn to get a nice trail & couldn’t be fitter at third consecutive outing over the distance.

10. Simply Gold is an emerging metropolitan three-year-old who looks to have this at his mercy off a sound closing debut run behind a smart maiden winner at Scone. 1. Blue Kingdom was disappointing third-up when failing to attack the line from midfield, but a drier tack and the addition of blinkers can see him bounce back at his fourth start. 3. Parkrun who finds a weaker race second-up, and 9. Redaluca Girl who is a consistent enough mare with blinkers back on; can fight for the minor money in a race with ordinary depth.

Race 3 - 2:10PM WESTS ENTERTAINMENT GROUP MAIDEN HANDICAP (1200 METRES) |

2. Brutal Elegance is a lightly raced metropolitan mare who can overcome a wide draw second-up in what is another weak race. Drove home late from a wide gate when missing by a neck here three weeks back, and with natural improvement and greater fitness, she can open her account. 1. Dunori is an ex-Victorian four-year-old who will likely jump favourite having his first outing for the new local Cody Morgan stable. Looked good through the line in a recent Scone trial, and draws to get a soft rough right behind the speed. 6. Poker Prince is a stablemate of the top selection and three-year-old by Casino Prince on debut behind two trials. 3. Litlfela improving third-up, and 10. Fast Blue fourth-up; can add value into trifecta and first four plays.

Race 4 - 2:45PM KOOBAH PERFORMANCE HORSES CLASS 1 HANDICAP (1000 METRES) |

7. Shotgun Bella is a promising local mare returning for only her second start, 26 weeks after a dominant debut win here. Fitted with the right sort of trial, and drawn to get cover right behind the speed, she can pick up where she left off and head on to much better races. 1. Almost Maybe is another lightly raced home tracker, and drawn right alongside, who can improve enough second-up to run the quinella. 3. Bravaro, a stablemate of the top selection, resumes for a second prep off two spaced and soft trials. 2. Beaumista jumps from wider out, but is a market watch reloading off a 13 week break and easy trial for just his fourth start. Big gap to the rest.

Race 5 - 3:20PM TAMWORTH CITY TOYOTA MAIDEN PLATE (1000 METRES) |

11. Cool Bee Bee can claim an open race at big odds at just his second start, crucially getting back on firmer footing. Only held his position on debut in heavy ground, but with race experience this is far more suitable. Settles right behind the speed with cover, and leading jockey sticks solid. 4. Wanavan is bursting to open his account having been around the money all prep, often in deeper maidens. Drawn the inside, although won’t want to drift too far back over this shorter sprint trip. 3. Straight South is a clear improver having been gelded since running home late on debut at Narromine for a little known Scone stable. 6. Fake is an improver second-up and four weeks between runs with a far superior jockey taking over. 8. Parissident is still searching for her first win ahead of 23rd start, but hasn’t been far away in four runs this campaign; while 12. Swedish Glitter second-up heads the rest.

Race 6 - 3:55PM SHAY BRENNAN CONSTRUCTIONS BM66 HANDICAP (1400 METRES) |

9. Great Point is a talented mare, and well placed second-up drawn to settle back before getting to the outside late. Took on Saturday Highway company to cap her last campaign through mid winter before spelling, then charged home to only miss by a long neck when resuming behind a smart winner at Scone. Carries 1.5kg less here after the jockey’s claim, and with any sort of clear run from the top of the straight, is the one to beat. 5. Deebo bolted in a weak race here two starts ago before doing his best work late in a deeper BM 66 at Scone. 3. Invincible Red has a 33 percent winning record from six starts at this track, and draws to get a sound run back in the field. 8. Dawn Country was impressive sweeping clear late to win a weaker grade second-up, although has to tuck in from a wide draw. 6. Reflecting Fame drawn inside with good weight relief, and 7. Rura Penthe suited over more ground second-up; can both figure in the minor money.

Race 7 - 4:35PM KCE CIVIL CONTRACTORS BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP (1200 METRES) |

11. Fan Harder is an emerging four-year-old, and the one to beat despite not having raced for nearly a year. Drawn the inside, fitted with a soft trial, and while he bypassed Mudgee on Sunday to be saved for this, one of his chief rivals who drew right alongside went the other way. 12. Great Cosmic reloads 24 days after a debut win here. 7. Blend Of Three who resumed with a dominant maiden win three weeks back, and 9. Supairo third-up; head the rest.

Race 8 - 5:10PM MCDONALDS TAMWORTH BENCHMARK 82 HANDICAP (1000 METRES) |

8. Speck is a progressive mare suited over 100m further fourth-up, and can cap a big day for the Rodney Northam stable. Took big strides in the autumn coming off a country CL2 win to charge home and claim a CL3 Highway at Randwick before spelling. Has run home okay in three runs back on rain-affected ground, but can show her best here back on drier footing, and then be set for better races than this. 9. Ramones has tactical speed, and is over the odds resuming off a trial win. 6. Femme Fatale draws the fence deep into her prep, although hasn’t won for a while. 7. Super Sioux has a smart record here at home and first-up, and another one with each way claims. 1. Mystery Lad who has won four times from 15 starts here at home goes in all exotic plays.
