12. Our Jewel is a progressive and fit Qld mare who has placed in three from four starts this campaign. Finds a very weak maiden now and further boosted with the track improving well into soft range. 8. Think Of One is an honest provincial performer making the long trip north, and getting an overdue drop in quality can run the quinella. Gap to the rest headed by 7. Savea.

4. Sugar Road is a lightly raced and improving seven-year-old who can claim a poor quality race, despite drawing wide. Hasn’t done much in two runs back, but this is very thin now, and the extra trip and jockey change are big plusses. 12. Deodee can improve third-up with gear changes. 7. Need For Spieth resuming off a long break and two progressive trials is also right in the hunt.

Race 3 - 2:50PM CRJC AGM 12 NOVEMBER MAIDEN PLATE (1006 METRES) |

1. Homeland is a locally-trained five-year-old who can resume off a 16 week break with a bang. Was never far away in five runs last campaign against deeper opposition when racing with visors. Tough draw again, but this is also a weak lineup and that piece of gear coming off is a positive sign. Fitted with a solid trial on the track, and the more the course dries out the better placed he is. 2. Rich Star has had two improving runs back, although looms under the odds from a tough barrier. 4. Dandeelion Wishes is a market watch on debut wearing winkers behind a soft trial. 8. Immortal Storm, a first starter trained on the track, and 11. Midwest Princess improving second-up from the inside draw; are the best of the rest.

4. All Too Wild is an honest provincial mare well placed deep into the prep, dropping down from much tougher provincial opposition. Did her best work late two starts ago behind a smart BM 64 winner before struggling three weeks back in similar company when the track was too hard. Comes back significantly in distance, but this is weaker, and she has enough tactical speed to stay in touch from a handy draw. 2. Mofeed is the immediate threat after four improving runs in better BM 58 company, and given four weeks between runs to off-set a drop in distance. 5. Cutting Edge is a Qld-based four-year-old who can improve second-up; while two other border-hoppers 6. Luvtoknow drawn inside with multiple gear changes, and 7. Platinum Gift down in weight second-up after the jockey’s claim; can both figure in the minor money at good odds.

3. Lovewillcomelater is a lightly raced six-year-old primed to go back-to-back stepping up in class. Dominated from the front at Murwillumbah when off a break, and from a similar draw and map position, he can repeat the dose on his preferred rain-affected ground. 1. Extra Manners is a big betting watch resuming off a domiannt trial win at Coffs. 5. Iobject hasn’t won for a while, but never far away tackling better sprints, and drawn to get a handy trail just off the speed. Gap to the rest headed by 7. Kate's Tiara who reloads three weeks after a fast-finishing and overdue CL3 win at Moree, and 9. Critical Time who held his ground last time behind a smart country sprinter.

9. Suit Day is very underrated here having shown solid improvement in consecutive BM 66 runs at Tamworth, and has a 50 percent place record from 10 starts in soft going. 10. Beta Better is an improving Gold Coast mare more than ready for this bigger test off two solid wins either side of the border, and blinkers are back on. 1. Justice Served is drawn wide, but comes off a fighting win in deeper grade at Lismore well into the prep. Keep safe 2. Viadelamore who is hard fit and made up plenty of ground behind the former in that Lismore race just 10 days ago. 3. Hurricane Rosie 19 days after an improving CL1 win at Ipswich, 5. Quick Buck taking on a deeper field behind back-to-back wins here, and Gold Coast mare 6. Giddy Gan’s Joy back in grade and drawn the fence; can all add plenty of value to trifecta and first fours.

1. Master Artist is an improving four-year-old best suited here in another wide open race with a stack of chances. Bolted in his maiden at this track from off speed in winter before two fair efforts in Qld up to tougher BM 65 level. Ridden much quieter and ht the line in a CL1 here four weeks ago after being backed from $5.50 into $4.40. Will again settle back from this draw, and is at his best on rain-affected ground. 3. Vendemmia is an improver who charged home to land his maiden here third-up. 4. Patrioticintention gave nothing else a chance from the front in winning his maiden at Lismore 11 days ago, and drawn to lead again. 7. Risk For Reward can improve further off a handy closing effort at Coffs; while 11. Beautiful Jo is another last-start maiden winner, and the best of the rest.
