Merdeka Current Leader In The NSW Picnic Champion Series

Dubbo-trained mare Merdeka holds the lead in the 2024 NSW Picnic Champion Series courtesy of her second placings in the Cobar and Mungery Picnic Cups.

Receiving seven points for each placing, the Connie Greig-trained Merdeka tops the list with 14 points from Blinkin Nomore and Captain Corelli both on 11 points.

The Debbie Prest-trained Blinkin Nomore picked up two points at Cobar and Mungery before landing the Young Picnic Cup.

And Captain Corelli from the John Rolfe camp dervied his 11 points after being runner-up in the Lockhart Picnic Cup before scoring in the Young Picnic Trophy.

The next chance to earn points will be at HARDEN PICNICS on Saturday 28th October.
