Leg Work Withdrawn From Country Championships Final

Trainer Danny Williams today reported to Racing NSW that LEG WORK, which ran second in the South-East Country Championships Qualifier, has sustained a soft tissue injury.

Consequently, the horse is unable to take its place in the Newhaven Park Country Championships Final at Royal Randwick on Saturday, 10 April 2021, and has been withdrawn with a veterinary certificate.

The third-placed horse from the South-East qualifier, Rothenburg, has already qualified for the Final through the Wildcard race at Muswellbrook.

Hence, the fourth-placed horse from the South-East qualifier, Girls are Ready, will now be elevated into the field for the Country Championships Final.
