Selections based on a good track
Race 1 - 2:45PM ANGULLONG WINES MAIDEN HANDICAP (1000 METRES)

1. Bounding Bon has only had six starts and has been placed in three of them. He resumed from a spell with a solid fourth at Wellington and then followed that up with a strong finishing second at Wagga when last produced. He looks to have the talent to break through with his maiden victory in this company. 8. Nightwalker ran third at this track and then at Dubbo before a last start fourth at Bathurst when not too far away. This isn’t beyond him. 2. Codonas started his career in Victoria and has had two starts since joining the Clint Lundholm stable for a down the track effort at Dubbo and a second at Parkes when finishing strongly from back in the field. He is on the improve and can show up without surprising. 7. Ruby Harmony is another former Victorian that is resuming from a spell here for a new stable. She is yet to be placed from four starts but can improve.
How to play it: Bounding Bon WIN.
Race 2 - 3:25PM ORANGE MOTOR GROUP CLASS 3 BM66 HANDICAP (1000 METRES)
---
4. Bombay Boom looked the goods when resuming from a spell with an all the way win at Albury as favourite. He backed that up with a last start second at Canberra behind Margin Call when racing on the speed and battling on well. 1. Crusader Kings was a winner at Bathurst back in May and resumed at Rosehill last time out with a solid fifth in Highway grade. He is primed to run well in this grade. 3. Super Zippi ran fourth at Mudgee when last produced and she can get into the minor money. 7. Cifonelli was an Acton track winner at Canberra back in June and is second-up from a spell here having resumed with a last placing at Kembla Grange when not beaten too far.
How to play it: Bombay Boom WIN.
Race 3 - 4:05PM THE ORIANA ORANGE BENCHMARK 82 HANDICAP (1600 METRES)
---
3. Behtar is a well performed import that showed talent when in the care of Peter Snowden and is now in the stable of Nick Olive. He ran well in city grade when fourth at Warwick Farm when last produced and although back in distance for this he can be in the thick of things if anywhere near his best. 2. Knife’s Edge was midfield in the Mudgee Cup when last produced and has the talent to figure, while 7. Turgenev ran second in a small field here last time out and has place claims again. 4. Rebel’s Edge has had three runs back from a spell and has been racing in good enough form to pose a threat here.
How to play it: Behtar WIN.
Race 4 - 4:40PM INLAND DIGITAL MAIDEN PLATE (1400 METRES)
---
4. Lego Master is a Graff three-year-old on debut after a number of trials and he looks set to run well on the strength of the two latest trial performances. 9. Fan Sea Diva debuted with a strong finishing fourth at Nowra and a repeat of that would have her right in the firing line of this event. 11. Inyun has only had two stars for a debut second at Narromine before a second at this track as favourite last time out. 13. Written About ran third on debut at Nowra and warrants thought.
How to play it: Lego Master WIN.
Race 5 - 5:15PM PARKVIEW HOTEL ORANGE CLASS 1 HANDICAP (1280 METRES)
---
7. State Of Grace formerly raced in Victoria and has had three runs since joining the new stable. She resumed from a spell with a strong finishing second at Gundagai before breaking her maiden in good fashion at Narromine as favourite when leading throughout. She ran well again when a last start second at Dubbo and only has to maintain that form to be in the thick of things again. 1. Street Skater has been racing well since resuming from a spell with a first-up third at Coonabarabran being followed by a second at this track and a last start win at Narromine. Expect him to figure prominently again. 4. Group Chat was a maiden winner at Wagga at her second start and was then spelled after a fifth at that track during the carnival back in May. She resumes here and can show up. 11. Eilrahc finished second at this track when last produced and a repeat of that can have him figuring in the finish here.
How to play it: State Of Grace EACH WAY.
Race 6 - 5:55PM BUCKLEY'S CARPET COURT CLASS 1 & MAIDEN PLATE (1600 METRES)
---
6. Cuesta has been racing well since resuming from a spell. He ran second when first-up at this track and then followed a fourth on the Beaumont track at Newcastle with a last start win in a small field on the same track. He’s drawn wide here but has the ability to overcome that. 7. Pearler hit the line well to finish third at Gosford before again charging late to score in maiden company at Queanbeyan when last produced. Another forward showing is on the cards. 5. Yorkel resumed with a third at Wellington and then wasn’t disgraced when a last start fourth at Mudgee. He bears close watching. 10. Sabatina has been racing well with a win five starts ago and then four subsequent minor placings. She should get into the money again in this if she can run up to any of those efforts.
How to play it: Cuesta WIN.
Best Bets:
Race 3 (3) Behtar.
Race 4 (4) Lego Master.
Best Value:
Race 5 (7) State Of Grace.
