5. Brutal Belle has been racing well with two recent second at this track and then at Wagga. She looks suited by the small field here and has the advantage of barrier one to assist her cause. 1. Brannum finished second at Nowra and then this track either side of a spell. His form has slipped in his latest two starts but he can be expected to improve in this line-up. 4. Run Raymond Run was placed on the Acton track at Canberra when resuming from a spell and is capable of going on with the job now, while 3. Delago Serg has finished third in each of his latest three starts including two at this track and is worth including among the chances again.
How to play it: Brutal Belle WIN.
Race 2 - 1:35PM JEFF PENZA JOCKEY OF THE YEAR MAIDEN PLATE (930 METRES) |

1. Blanc De Noir is a well above average mare that had five starts when in the care of Michael Freedman and was placed in each of them. She resumes here on the back of two trials for new trainer Mitchell Beer and won the latest of them at Kembla Grange. She should be winning this. 2. Noble Ruby is first-up from a spell and has been placed in five of 10 starts and ran in the same trial Blanc De Noir won. 5. Glenn’s Legacy ran second on debut at Wagga and resumes here, while 7. Remy’s Bro debuts here after a third in a trial at this track.

He resumed with a second at Wagga and is set to continue his consistent form in this event. 2. Abstruse ran sixth in the same event Captain Nay contested last time out and warrants some thought. 6. Manwari wasn’t far away at Goulburn at his latest start and should be thereabouts, while 3. Vereeva has finished fourth in two starts since winning here.

Caravanserai failed at Nowra after a Bathurst win but can lift in this line-up, while 7. Kool Bird has solid place claims.

Race 5 - 3:20PM DAZZLED TROPHIES & GIFTS & CARTRIDGE WORLD MAIDEN (1210M) |

1. Dooralong debuted with a fourth at Nowra when beaten just over a length. He’s drawn wide here but only needs to repeat that effort to be hard to hold out here. 5. Lady Yarrow has finished second at the Sapphire Coast and Wagga at her last two starts and looms as the hardest to beat on that form. 6. Ridotta ran a last start third at Nowra and has the talent to get into the money again, while 9. Choceclair resumed with a last placing at Kembla Grange but may find this easier.
How to play it: Dooralong EACH WAY.
Race 6 - 3:55PM TERRY ROBINSON TRAINER OF THE YEAR BM66 HANDICAP (1210M) |
---|
3. Jackpot Star is yet to miss a place from five starts with two wins to his name, the latest being a last start Nowra victory. He should take plenty of running down in this. 7. Alottosay won well at Nowra and this track either side of a spell and wasn’t beaten far when a last start third at the Sapphire Coast. 10. Loch Erin has ability on her day and has the potential to run a bold race. 1. Fourcade has a good record at this track and will find this easier than a last start Canterbury effort.
How to play it: Jackpot Star WIN.
Race 7 - 4:35PM DAZZLED HOME AND GIFTS BENCHMARK 82 HANDICAP (1435 METRES) |
---|

She resumed with a solid finishing third at Warwick Farm and this looks ideal for her. 3. Bon Frankie followed a second on the Acton track at Canberra with a close-up fourth on the course proper there. 4. Epaullo Creed is a bold front runner that can give plenty of cheek, while 1. Marsabit comes into this after a Warwick Farm placing over a middle distance trip.

Race 8 - 5:15PM PERUNO HORSE OF THE YEAR BM58 HANDICAP (1660 METRES) |
