Race 1 - 1:10PM NUTRIEN MAIDEN SHOWCASE PLATE (1100 METRES) |
---|
3. Race To Arms was first past the post at his debut at Dubbo only to be relegated to second after causing interference in the straight. He’s drawn favourably in the inside barrier here and Kody Nestor sticks with him having been aboard at his first start. 9. Bullant was placed in the Wellington Boot at his second start in a race and ran third in the Romantic Dream at Tamworth before a fourth at Scone and then being spelled. He resumes here and has solid claims. 6. Manoora is first-up for a new stable and was placed in two of three in Victoria. 2. Fratianno charged home late into second at Tamworth when resuming and is worth thought.
How to play it: Race To Arms WIN.
Race 2 - 1:47PM DUBBO CITY & GILGANDRA TOYOTA C1 & MAIDEN PLATE (1600 METRES) |
---|
4. Hammoon Sensation raced on the speed and fought back too week when challenged to score a last start Dubbo victory. He only needs to run up to that to be hard to beat again. 4. Prince Of Prophets ran home well out wide for a last start second at Dubbo and has claims on that. 8. My Kind Of Girl also flew late to win at Dubbo when last produced, while 3. Recovery Road has place claims if the breaks go his way.
How to play it: Hammoon Sensation WIN.
Race 3 - 2:20PM NALDER FAMILY SHOWCASE CLASS 3 HANDICAP (1600 METRES) |
---|
7. Saint Philomena went forward to lead and gave nothing else a look in when scoring a last start Dubbo win. She can score again with a repeat of that effort. 2. The Impeckable got a good run through on straightening and went down fighting when a last start second at Muswellbrook. 1. Taipan Legend has been racing well with a win and a second in his last two Tamworth starts. 5. Green Run will find this easier than his latest effort in the Dubbo Cup.
How to play it: Saint Philomena EACH WAY.
Race 4 - 2:55PM DAD N DAVE TURF/SOUTHERN CROSS TURF/ELITE SAND & SOIL/EVERGEEN TURF SUPER MAIDEN HANDICAP (1300 METRES) |
---|
8. Chamber Of Secrets was having her second start in a race when a solid second in a handy race at Scone. She’s drawn ideally in gate one here and gets her chance to break through. 1. Maybe Now has finished second in two runs at Mudgee and Dubbo since resuming and should be in the thick of things again. 2. Alabama Charm has been placed in three of five and was runner-up in the Wellington Boot earlier in the year. 5. Vendor is a former Godolphin galloper on debut for a new stable and bears close watching despite the wide draw.
How to play it: Chamber Of Secrets WIN.
Race 5 - 3:30PM SWANNY'S FOODS CLASS 2 SHOWCASE HANDICAP (1100 METRES) |
---|
4. Almost Maybe was third-up from a spell when coming with a strong finish to be just edged out when a last start second at Dubbo. He’s racing well enough to give this a shake. 8. El Beattle resumed from a spell with an all the way Port Macquarie win and can give cheek again. 3. Comongin was a winner at Wellington at his third start in a race and was then spelled. He resumed with a second at Narromine and should be thereabouts again. 10. Trumpty Dumpty beat Comongin at Narromine before a last start third at Dubbo.
How to play it: Almost Maybe EACH WAY.
Race 6 - 4:05PM KEADY FAMILY COONAMBLE CRYSTAL SPRINT (1200 METRES) |
---|
8. Tainui is lightly raced with three wins and four seconds from eight starts and resumed with a solid second behind Mystery Lad at Tamworth. He can go one better in this. 1. Mystery Lad is a speedy type that warrants respect again after its last start win at Tamworth. 7. Stratified was midfield at Dubbo at his latest start and has the talent to make an impact, while 3. How’s It Kev is resuming after a Dubbo trial and had solid form before the spell.
How to play it: Tainui WIN.
Race 7 - 4:40PM QUBE AGRI COONAMBLE GOLD CUP (1600 METRES) |
---|
***BIG DANCE ELIGIBILITY***
2. Inquiring Minds is a member of the John O’Shea and Tom Charlton stable and comes into this after a first-up ninth at Randwick behind Idle Flyer when not disgraced. He should strip fitter for the run and is a city winner that has drawn ideally in gate two. 3. Justadeel is a Victorian and has been racing well with two city placings in Melbourne either side of a Sandown win in three runs since resuming from a spell. This looks a suitable assignment. 4. Mawjood resumed with a third placing at Canterbury and followed that up with a Rosehill victory when last produced. He should be prominent again. 1. Fortune was first-up from a spell when scoring a narrow Randwick win on September 20 and warrants plenty of thought again.
How to play it: Inquiring Minds EACH WAY.
Race 8 - 5:15PM WOODHAMS PETROLEUM/PARAGON BM66 HANDICAP (1400 METRES) |
---|
4. Release Point had been in fine form with wins at Tamworth and Scone before stepping up in grade and finishing a last start eighth of eight over a longer trip at Canterbury. He drops in distance and class for this and a return to form should result. 10. Mrs Bull charged home to score at Dubbo when last produced and should get a soft run from the inside draw. 14. Shadow Dane followed a Narromine win with a solid fifth at Dubbo and is drawn well here. 3. Starlink bobs up every now and again and has the talent to run well.
How to play it: Release Point EACH WAY.
Best Bets:
