3. Denuto has had six starts and been placed in three of them. He finished third at Gatton two starts ago and followed that with a second at Ballina on a heavy 10. He was soundly beaten in that event but gets another chance to break through here. 2. Dark Stratum has had a number of chances but has been placed four times, including a second in a Super 3YO Maiden at Warwick Farm in April. 1. Clever Illusion was placed at Port Macquarie last Sunday when hitting the line well and warrants respect again, while 4. Kemal is better for two runs back from a spell and should be ready to peak now.

8. Issy’s Star was on debut at Muswellbrook when running a good race to finish second behind Raging Force. She’s drawn the rails gate here and only needs to run up to that effort to be hard to hold out here. 12. Toi Toi had her first start at the Sunshine Coast and did a good job to finish third on a heavy track. 3. Archie Maximus won a Gold Coast trial before being heavily backed when finishing third on debut at Casino. 2. Andrea hit the line to finish third in the same race Issy’s Star contested last time out and has claims.

1. Gettin’ Up is a gelding by Grunt on debut here and has had the benefit of a solid recent trial in which he finished fourth at Grafton. He’s drawn the inside barrier here and has the advantage of an apprentice allowance. 6. Outoftheoffice debuted with a fourth at Casino and should be better for that experience. 5. Ol’ Mate Coop has performed well in each of his three starts and should be thereabouts again. 3. Piedi Veloci was close-up wen a last start fourth at Grafton and warrants thought.

3. Diva Rouge is on debut here from a good gate. She had two trials in September and October last year and has since had another two recent trials in preparation for this, finishing a close-up third in the latest of them on the Beaumont track at Newcastle. 4. Dizzy Dee resumes from a spell here on the back of a Grafton trial victory and looks set to run well. 6. I’m Guessing was an easy trial winner at Grafton leading into this debut and looms as a leading contender. 2. Sivo was only beaten two lengths at Inverell last time out and is worth including.

1. Diamondsaremio won a couple races at Ballina and Kempsey late last year. She resumed with a down the track Highway effort at Gosford before a last start third at Moree when hitting the line well. 3. Bianco Nero resumes here for a new stable. She’s run the odd good race and bears close watching fresh. 2. Boambee Beach has finished second in both runs at this track over this distance and can get into the money. 8. See The Saint resumes here and was a winner at this track in January.

Race 6 - 3:10PM WOOLGOOLGA DIGGERS CUP BENCHMARK 82 HANDICAP (1305 METRES) |

1. Ocean Alps was beaten less than three lengths by Floozie in the Silk Stocking before looming as the winner in the Beef Week Cup at Casino only to be nosed into second. She’s the one to beat from the good gate here. 7. Ostracised ran well when finishing second at Ballina last week and can show up with a repeat of that. 4. Leica Model resumes here and has a sound first-up record, while 2. Xtra Approval has been racing well enough to give this a shake.

5. Spills had been racing well with a couple of just behind the placings effort in Queensland, before running a good race when leading and battling on well to finish second behind Resurrected at Grafton. He should take up a forward position here and take plenty of beating. 4. He’s A Copy Boy followed up some solid form with a strong finishing last start second at Casino. 2. Golden Honour did the job well to score a last start Taree win when leading throughout. 1. Ronny Rock Art wasn’t too far away in city grade last time out and has place claims.

1. Telegraph has been racing in fine form this campaign. He resumed with a second at Taree before a down the track effort at Tuncurry. He then finished third at Port Macquarie before a strong finishing win at Taree. He’s up in weight here but can go on with the job. 4. Adamdeeant raced on the speed and was midfield behind Telegraph at Taree when last produced. He can show up here. 9. Exorealm resumes here having finished fourth at Taree before the spell. He ran third in a recent Grafton trial. 10. La Cache A Vin was midfield at Grafton at his latest start and could sneak into the placings.
