Injured Trainer Update - Cody Morgan (Tamworth, Sat)

Racehorse trainer Cody Morgan was injured following a trackwork incident at Tamworth on Saturday morning (25th April).

Cody was taken to Tamworth Hospital with a suspected broken leg.

Racing NSW's Dr. Duckworth has since reported that Cody Morgan has a fractured tibia and fibula.

He has come out of surgery where he had a rod inserted down his tibia and a plate put on his fibula.

Everything went well and he is stable in recovery. Cody is expected to remain in Tamworth Hospital for a few days.
