Injured Trackwork Rider Update - Shae Wilkes (Taree, Thursday)

Please note track rider Shae Wilkes suffered a fall during trackwork at Taree this morning (Thursday 30th August). Shae is currently being assessed and is suffering pain in her neck and back area. She will be transported to either John Hunter or Taree Hospital.

Update at 4pm on Thursday, 30th August 2018: Racing NSW's Dr Duckworth reports that Shae has been discharged from hospital. Shae was treated at Port Macquarie Hospital after her fall at Taree; she has no fractures following an x-ray and appears to have suffered soft tissue bruising only.
