Injured Trackwork Rider Update - Joel Chevalley (Taree, Monday)
Racing NSW Steward Jack Penfold reported that barrier attendant and licensed trackwork rider Joel Chevalley was struck in the head by a fractious horse at the barriers before Monday's trial at Taree.
Joel suffered a mild concussion and was subsequently stood down from riding trackwork at Port Macquarie this morning.
