Injured Trackwork Rider Update - Candice Saunders (Murwillumbah)
Please note trackwork rider Candice Saunders is recovering in Tweed Hospital following an incident at Murwillumbah yesterday (Tuesday 28th August).
Candice was dislodged from her mount during jump outs, suffering an injury to her right leg.
Candice has reported that she has a broken fibula in two places which will require surgery at a later date. Doctors are currently waiting for swelling to go down before they can operate.
Racing NSW's Dr Duckworth will liaise with Candice about her recovery.
