Injured Rider Update - Darryl McLellan (Scone, 31st May)
Jockey Darryl McLellan was injured when his mount Magic Anna became fractious in the barriers prior to the start of Race 3 at Scone on Friday, 31st May 2019.
Racing NSW Steward, Damien Carr, has since reported that Darryl had scans which revealed a fracture to his right ankle. He has had surgery and will be out for approximately three months.
