Injured Rider Update - Brianna Burke (Leeton, Fri)

Leeton-based trainer Peter Clancy has reported that rider Brianna Burke was dislodged during trackwork at his home track this morning (Friday 29th May).

Brianna is at Leeton Hospital receiving treatment for a suspected broken collarbone and broken thumb.

[Update at 6:50pm on Friday]: Racing NSW's Dr. Duckworth reports that Brianna has a fractured thumb and a fractured clavicle - both require surgery.

Brianna has been discharged from hospital and will be treated in Sydney by Dr. Duckworth next week to fix her clavicle and also arrange for a hand specialist to fix her thumb.
