Injured Jockeys Update - Tamworth (Sunday)

Multiple jockeys were dislodged from their mounts after an incident in race 2 at Tamworth on Sunday (10th March).

Josh Adams (James Richard), Kath Bell-Pitomac (Stella Miss), Rachel King (Modern Family), Wendy Peel (Cherokee) and Greg Ryan (Son of a Dun) were involved in the incident.

Latest updates:-

Rachel King underwent fixation of her clavicle last night and it went very well. She will be in a sling for 2 weeks and will generally not be riding for 6 weeks.

Wendy Peel underwent surgery to her fracture dislocation of her right shoulder last night as well. She had her shoulder fixed with a plate and screws and this also went very well. She will not be riding for at least 3 months.

Josh Adams was transferred to John Hunter yesterday and was waiting to have his femur fixed today.

Kath Bell-Pitomac is still in Tamworth hospital being monitored until discharge.

Greg Ryan suffered a mild concussion and was discharged from hospital.
