Injured Jockey Update - Patrick Scorse (Canberra, Weds)

Jockey Patrick Scorse was dislodged after coming out of the barriers in race 7 at Canberra on Wednesday (30th September). He is conscious and is being attended to by ambulance officers. Patrick is experiencing some pain to his left ankle and will be transported to Canberra Hospital.

[Update at 10:15am on Thursday 1st October]: Patrick has suffered soft tissue damage to his left ankle having been cleared of any fractures or breaks. He is expected to be stood down from riding duties for 4 to 6 weeks.
