Injured Jockey Update - Jeff Penza (Queanbeyan, Sunday)

Racing NSW Steward, Jim Walshe, reported that during the running of Race 2 at Queanbeyan on Sunday (28th October), jockey Jeff Penza’s mount (Murrage) fell at approximately the 400m mark and he was dislodged.

Update on Monday (29th October): Racing NSW's Dr Duckworth reported that Jeff has a fractured tibia that requires surgery in the next few days. Jeff also has a fractured scapula that will be treated in a sling.
