Injured Jockey Reports (Lismore & Cowra)

Cejay Graham (Lismore Sunday 17 January, race 5)

Apprentice jockey Cejay Graham was dislodged from her mount on the way to the barriers, prior to Race 5 at Lismore.

She is complaining of pain to her back and Cejay is still in Lismore hospital and waiting scan results. She will be staying in hospital overnight.

Update (8am Monday): Cejay is being discharged from hospital today. She has compression fractures to her vertebra that are stable.

Brodie Loy & Chad Lever (Cowra Sunday 17 January)

Jockey Brodie Loy has aggravated a back injury when his mount commenced to buck during the running of Race 2 at Cowra today.

Brodie has reported that he is suffering from ongoing pain and has stood himself down from his remaining engagements.

In a seperate incident, jockey Chad Lever has aggravated a calf injury during the running of Race 3.

Chad has also stood himself down from his remaining engagements today.
