Injured Jockey - Andrew Adkins (Canberra 25 Feb)

Jockey Andrew Adkins has a suspected fracture to his left arm after his mount became fractious in the barrier prior to Race 3 at Canberra.

He will be transported to Canberra Hospital for further examination.

Update 7pm: Andrew decided to leave Canberra hospital due to a 3 hour wait. He is driving to Hornsby hospital and will be assessed by Dr. Duckworth's team.

Andrew has an undisplaced fracture of his ulna that will be treated in a plaster for 6 weeks. He will see Dr Duckworth in a week's time.
