Ingelse Strikes Back In Scone Rising Star Heat

Apprentice Shayleigh Ingelse has regained the lead in the Rising Star Series after taking out Heat 3 at Scone on Monday (14th November).

Ingelse recorded her second Rising Star victory for the season aboard roughie Prefer To Be Ready ($18) for trainer Jay Hopkins.

Jasper Franklin was second with Really Serious ($3.30 favourite) and Chelsea Hillier third on Bridges To Babylon ($7).

Ingelse, now boasting 14 series points, has a clear lead from Jasper Franklin (11pts) and Anna Roper (8pts).

Wagga Wagga will host Heat 4 on Monday 21st November.
