In-Form Combination Represent Value At Warren (Tuesday)

While prolific country trainers Cody Morgan and Brett Robb provide in-form favourites and numbers, Dubbo’s Clint Lundholm and Riverina riding ace Nick Heywood combine at value into the Warren TAB meeting on Tuesday.

Robb and Morgan dominate the betting in several races while Lundholm at longer odds is represented in most of the seven events at his favourite track away from home.

Clint’s a regular winner at Warren and amidst his best season yet with 44 winners, he combines in four races with Heywood.

“I love Warren, its the Randwick of the west. A big turf track and they get their chance if good enough and great party racedays,” Lundholm offered.

Enthusiasts travel from far and wide for Warren racing and carnival atmosphere.

Lundholm was this morning riding Dubbo trackwork in near zero temperatures.

“No stars but live chances in suitable races; Shaquila ($8.50 on TAB) was a big win last start and can go on with it.

"Shaquila has drawn out (13) but then the right rider in Nick.”

Shaquila contests the Bealcott Partnership\Two Four AG BM 58 (1200m) with 60.5kg after coming from near last and powering for a near four lengths win at home recently.

“He surprised us to a degree, failed twice on heavy, probably forgives - always shown ability but taken a while to find his best.

“Now he’s won again, he can keep it going and the big track suits.”

Warren is a 2300m circumference with lengthy runs in from chute sprint starts into a near 400m home straight.

Lundholm's newcomer Great Southernland ($4.20) is well placed with a 3kg claim off 56kg for former Brisbane apprentice Zoe Hunt in the Mark’s Partnership Country Boosted Mdn, 1200m.

A particularly thin maiden: “Only had the one start for us from Aiden St Vincent at Coffs Harbour, a pass mark, he’s progressed and been competitive in stronger maidens.”

Heywood also rides Joshua ($14) in race five, the Paringa Ag/bundah Pastoral Plate (1600m).

“He's fitter for recent racing, the runs have been better than the form shows and ticking over nicely this time in.”

The 62.5kg for Hit the Rim ($7) in the last indicates he’s the best credentialled and also has been in harder races on heavy tracks.

Meanwhile, Morgan and Robb, having highly successfully seasons, provide most favourites on a seven-race program with a Soft 6 track in fine weather.
