Harvey Norman Wagga Gold Cup Carnival - Barrier Draws

Murrumbidgee Turf Club will be conducting the barrier draws for both the Harvey Norman Wagga Gold Cup and the JRC Electrical Services MTC Wagga Guineas from 10am on Wednesday (5th May) - this will take place on course in the members' lounge.

MTC's CEO Steven Keene said: "Both fields are certain to be full of class and will spearhead an exciting two days of racing.

"Most of the metropolitan stables will be represented, along with all of our local trainers which is great to see."

There will also be several metropolitan class jockeys fighting it out with the locals for Wagga's third annual William Farrer Tye Angland Medal.

Mr Keene added: "It will be excellent to the see the likes of Tommy Berry, Nash Rawiller, Regan Bayliss and Jason Collett competing with our local riders for this special accolade."

Steven Keene will be available straight after the barrier draws for comments and interviews on the cup fields (0447 601 641) and answer any questions in regard to the two-day carnival.
