Handful Of Rides For Jaden Lloyd At Goulburn (Tuesday)

By John Schell

Jockey Jaden Lloyd has made a recent return to NSW racing and he has a solid book of rides awaiting at Goulburn on Tuesday.

Jaden Lloyd [pictured below], who has recently returned to the NSW scene, has five mounts at Goulburn, headed by the Michael, Wayne & John Hawkes-trained Keysborough ($3.70 into $2.70 on TAB) in the Goulburn Produce Class 1 Handicap (900m).

Keysborough is a four-year-old gelding by I Am Invincible out of the mare Oscietra, which is a daughter of unbeaten champion mare Black Caviar.

Keysborough broke his maiden at Wyong at his latest start when scoring in good style over 1000m. He drops back to 900m in the Goulburn event.

Lloyd will also partner the Amanda Turner-prepared Mr Showman ($17 into $12) in the Kilpatrick Metal Recyclers Maiden Handicap (1000m), Maralago ($8) in the JCF Earthmoving Class 1 Handicap (1500m) for Anthony Cummings, Tears For Fears ($9) for Lee & Cherie Curtis in the Kirk’s Bridge Farm Benchmark 66 Handicap (1300m).

Also Proceed ($6.50) for Jason Attard & Lucy Keegan-Attard in the Goulburn Mulwaree Council Maiden Handicap (1600m).

Mr Showman is yet to in from 13 starts but has been just behind the placings in his latest two starts.

Maralago hasn’t done a lot this campaign and has only won one race from 22 starts but is capable of showing improvement.

Tears For Fears is third-up from a spell and has shown the talent to measure up in a race like she meets on Tuesday, while Proceed has been showing improvement getting into this preparation and an improved showing is on the cards.

Alysha Collett also has a handy book of rides awaiting at Goulburn, with the Anthony Warren-trained debut winner You Wish ($9.50) awaiting when she lines up against Keysborough.

You Wish scored at big odds when having her first start at Queanbeyan in January, and followed that up with a second at Goulburn before a seventh at Wagga.

Collett will ride last start winner Hold ($3.50) in the Electel Services Country Boosted Benchmark 58 Handicap (1000m) for trainer John Nisbet, while her other rides are Proud Image ($5.50), Easement ($7) and Bo Bo Beware ($4.40) in the final three races of the day.
