Innovative Bathurst Thoroughbred Racing has found a novel way to raise on-course atmosphere whilst adhering to COVID-19 protocols.

BTR General Manager, Michelle Tarpenning explained: “The Panorama will be exciting - at $80,000 prizemoney the race will generate great anticipation for horses seeking a place in the $1.3 million The Kosciusko (20 days later at Royal Randwick).

“We have a limit of 500 patrons, so it’s first in best dressed! The public can pre-book and buy a seat and table on the front lawn for $20 each, in pole position, so as not to miss out.

"And the concept has proven popular with seats selling fast," said Tarpenning. “100 seats have already gone and anyone wanting a great day out please call quickly.

"Other features on the day include the Bathurst Cup, Hugh Bowman Cup, Rising Prince and Gold Circle Cups plus The Barb.

“It’s also our Bathurst Cup Legends’ meeting, the best quality race meeting of the year, so come and join us!”.
