Cert III Racecourse Curator / Track Management & Maintenance – 2-Year Traineeship

Racing NSW is offering a fantastic opportunity for jobseekers to launch a career in the thoroughbred racing industry through a 2-year Traineeship in Cert III Racecourse Curator / Track Management & Maintenance.

As part of this traineeship, successful applicants will gain hands-on experience working alongside industry experts to manage and maintain racecourse surfaces, training tracks, and facilities across NSW.

What You Will Learn:

  • Operate machinery and equipment

  • Assist with race meeting track maintenance
  • Operate pressurised irrigation systems
  • Provide information on plants and their culture
  • Control weeds, plant pests, diseases, and disorders

What We’re Looking For:

  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals with a strong work ethic
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends when required
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A current driver’s license

Traineeship Locations:

Opportunities are available at Albury, Armidale, Grafton, Dubbo, Gosford, Goulburn, Wagga Wagga, Muswellbrook, Newcastle, Port Macquarie, Scone, Tamworth, and Wyong.
