Gunnedah Jockey Club is currently seeking applications for the position of Secretary Manager (part-time).
The Club is a Country NSW Race Club conducting eight Thoroughbred race meetings each year as well as hosting functions and corporate and social events at the racecourse.
The Secretary Manager position incorporates responsibility for all aspects of the Club’s operations. The key responsibilities extend to:
• MYOB Processing and Payroll
• Reporting results to Racing NSW after each race meeting
• Supervision of the Track Manager and Track Staff
• Community, membership, stakeholder and industry participant relationship management
• Project management, strategic planning, marketing, legislative compliance and reporting
• Raceday event management, sales and marketing
The successful applicant will need to possess extensive leadership, communication, organisational, financial and management skills.
This is a part-time position 25–30 hrs/week with some weekend work involved.
