Employment Opportunity: CEO - Manning Valley Race Club (Taree)

Manning Valley Race Club is currently seeking applicants for the position of Chief Executive Officer.

This is a senior management role and the primary purpose is to professionally, effectively and efficiently manage all of the Club's business activities to maximise revenue returns, cost management, event management, customer service, racing operations, venue management, non-raceday events, membership development and services.

The Club is one of the leading Country NSW Race Clubs conducting over 22 Thoroughbred race meetings each year highlighted by the Taree Gold Cup.

The Club also hosts a variety of functions and events at the racecourse including weddings, corporate and social events in conjunction with a contract caterer.

The successful applicant will continue the strong progress of the Club and manage all aspects of the business operations.

As CEO you will work effectively with, and be responsible to, the Chairman and the Board of Manning Valley Race Club.

To be considered for the position you will have the ability to forge effective working relationships at all levels including industry participants, sponsors and members.

Excellent leadership, financial, communication, organisational and management skills are essential and a fundamental knowledge of and genuine interest in the racing industry is desired.

A remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
