Employment Opportunity - Administrator/Events Coordinator (Tuncurry Forster)

The Tuncurry Forster Jockey Club is looking for an Administrator/Events Coordinator.

The successful candidate will be competent in the following:

• Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• A positive, can-do attitude and hands on approach.
• Able to work autonomously and be proactive.
• Industry knowledge preferable but not essential.

The successful candidate will report to the Board and would be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Manage all aspects of race meetings conducted by the Tuncurry Forster Jockey Club (TFJC)
• Ensure the effective running of each race day by being in contact with staff and provide feedback to the Board on any operational deficiencies and any process improvement.
• Ensure the Run Sheet/Job tasks are completed prior to and post-race day is adhered to.
• Manage a variety of communications such as: social media, email, phone etc.
• Control and organise all bookings for race meetings and future events for the pavilion and gazebos, whilst at all times guaranteeing that the patrons and client’s expectations are met.
• Project management. Investigate future events to be conducted at the TFJC such as weddings, social events etc.
• Ability to document, refine and process procedures.
