Elson Boy (NZ) Withdrawn From Country Championships Final
A further veterinary inspection of ELSON BOY (NZ) has found that horse to be unsuitable to race due to lameness in the near foreleg. Racing NSW Stewards have therefore approved the scratching of ELSON BOY (NZ) from the Newhaven Park Country Championships Final at Royal Randwick on Saturday 6 April.
Following the scratching of ELSON BOY (NZ), the emergency runner from the WRA regional qualifying race - No.20 LISTEN TO THE BAND - has been elevated into the field. LISTEN TO THE BAND will start from barrier 12, the barrier from which ELSON BOY (NZ) was drawn to start.
