Apprentice Bailey Wheeler is the new Rising Star Series points leader after winning Heat 5 at Scone today.

Wheeler celebrated his first Rising Star victory with Bullinachinashop ($5) for Newcastle trainer Nathan Doyle.
Chris Williams, aboard Greenheart ($4.80) secured second position with Tyler Schiller third on American President ($5).
Wheeler, boasting 13 points, now leads the Series from Georgina McDonnell (10 points) with Jenny Duggan, Dylan Gibbons and Madi Derrick each sharing third position with nine points apiece.
Coffs Harbour will host Heat 6 on Thursday 30th December.
