Injured Trackwork Rider - Nicole Richardson (Taree, Mon)

Trackwork rider Nicole Richardson was dislodged from her mount during trackwork at Taree on Monday morning (2nd March). Nicole was transferred to hospital with a suspected broken collarbone.

[Update at 10am on Tuesday 3rd March]: Racing NSW's Dr Duckworth reported Nicole Richardson suffered a dislocation of her shoulder joint which was reduced in hospital. This did occur six years ago and hopefully can be treated with physio.

She also has a small avulsion fracture of her T1 spinous process which can be treated conservatively with rest and physio.
