Vale Mr Ian Downs

Racing NSW is saddened to announce the passing of Mr Ian Downs on Saturday night following a long battle with cancer.

Mr Downs, 75, worked for more than 20 years as an Assistant Steward in both the NSW Hunter & North West, and Mid North Coast Racing Associations.

"Ian was very well known and widely respected and he will be missed," said Shane Cullen, Chairman of Stewards for the Hunter & North West Racing Association.
