The Rosehill training partnership of Gerald Ryan and Sterling Alexiou will send two horses to Kembla Grange on Tuesday full of confidence that they can both acquit themselves well.
Ryan and Alexiou will combine with Saturday’s Group 1 Surround Stake winning jockey Chad Schofield when Harry’s Evidence contests the Your Next Stop Wests Illawarra Class 1 Handicap (1200m), while Jay Ford links with the stable when partnering Commanding Artist in the Wests Illawarra Community Strong Benchmark 64 Handicap (1600m).
“They are two nice chances that we have heading to Kembla,” said Ryan.

“Harry’s Evidence broke his maiden in good style when he resumed from a spell at Wyong. He started a short-priced favourite that day and won it easily.
“Then he led them up at Gosford when second-up from a spell and, while he was unplaced, he wasn’t too far away at the finish behind Andrea.”
Ryan pointed out that Andrea has since been placed in city company at Canterbury, and Harry’s Evidence is set to bounce back.
“He’s got a tricky gate to contend with, but Chad should give him every chance and if he can run up to his first-up run then he should be hard to hold out again,” Ryan said.
Commanding Artist has been racing well this preparation since resuming with a victory at Hawkesbury in December.
He since finished fourth on the Beaumont track at Newcastle, before a second at Canterbury and a fifth at Warwick Farm.
He lines up in the Kembla Grange event on the back of a second at the same track two weeks ago.
“He raced on the speed at Kembla Grange a couple of weeks ago and ran very well when finishing second to Satness,” said Ryan.
“His normal pattern is to go forward and he’s also drawn awkwardly, but his tactical speed should see him overcome that.
“His form has been very good this campaign, he’s racing consistently, and he’s ready to break through with another win.”
The Robert and Luke Price trained Satness will attempt two wins in a row when it lines up in the final event at Kembla Grange with Siena Grima to ride.
