Supplied by Illawarra Turf Club

Race 1 - 12:55PM BLINKY'S BIRTHDAY DASH MAIDEN HANDICAP (1000 METRES)

5. AT HER MERCY - She had won her home based Warwick Farm Trial before she was produced first up over this trip with numerous Gear Changes made last start at Wagga. She did all but win on the day and she presents Race-fitter now. 1. LOPE DE FORTUNE - He was spelled after a Warwick Farm Trial early last year. He then Trialed twice in July of last year. He hasn’t been seen in public since. Be guided by Market Moves for him after he Parades here at home on debut today? 12. MAJESTIC LEGEND - She has been given a freshen-up since she failed to recover from an early problem last start at Gosford in a Race that has produced acceptable subsequent form. A home based Randwick Trial eleven days ago was solid. 9. ROMANCASTLE - This Warwick Farm trained filly was spelled after a Rosehill Trial back in July of last year. She Trialed here and then at Hawkesbury last month. She has the natural pace to make her own luck on debut today and this Class suits

Race 2 - 1:30PM DEAN GROUP MIDWAY MAIDEN PLATE (1500 METRES)

14. SWEET TWILIGHT - She is based at Rosehill and she will be making her Kembla Grange debut today at her fourth start in her first campaign. She can be expected to appreciate this spacious circuit with Blinkers now on. 2. CATHEDRAL COVE - Despite finishing off greenly, he was anything but disgraced when he stepped up into this distance range last run/Randwick in a Race that’s already produced strong form. The addition of Visors is now a plus! 12. LA MORRA - She will clearly have scope to improve when she returns to Kembla Grange from an Inside Barrier third up. There were excuses within this distance range at Randwick last start. A Tongue Tie has now been added to her Gear. 9. JEWEL COUNTY - This Warwick Farm trained mare had Trialed twice at home before she began her second preparation last start over 1300m at Canberra when a Gear Change was made. Her effort was better than it appears on paper. 13. OLE’S DIVA - Her first up effort here over only 1200m was honest when she was completing in Blinkers for the first time. A Post-Race issue was then detected last start at Bathurst. Her unplaced effort must be overlooked. 3. DON’S PARTY - He had Trialed at home/Warwick Farm late last month before he made his debut with Andrew Calder aboard here last week. He struck trouble before he stuck to his task in defeat. He can already cope over this distance.

Race 3 - 2:05PM MATT SMITH BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP (2400 METRES)

7. POWERFUL PRAYER - He stepped up in distance to 2100m on the Beaumont Track at Newcastle last start when he recorded quick late sectionals for the Class with Pierre Boudvillain aboard for a first time. A longer journey now suits. 1. FINAL RESET - He was produced after a Kensington Track Trial and a thirty-five day break when he performed above Market Place expectations at Gosford last run. He can be expected to appreciate this drop in Class and a quicker back-up. 9. KONING - He must be forgiven for his unplaced latest effort at Bathurst after he became unsuited in transit on the day. He displayed determination to score at Canberra at his previous start and he can regain his best form here! 5. STAY TUNED - Blinkers were readded before he hit the line hard/Bathurst/1800m last start. This trip can now be coped with. 3. OLD GREGG - He beat home a next start Randwick winner at Warwick Farm last start and he is better placed today. 2. MR FABULOUS - He started at huge odds when he tackled 2400m at Randwick last start. He kept trying and he’s back at home now. 4. GATCHAN - This Canberra based mare is ready to make a Kembla Grange debut. Her win at home last start was gallant.

Race 4 - 2:40PM KENNARDS HIRE PROVINCIAL BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP (1400 METRES)

6. CUBAN CIGAR - He presents third up in his second campaign and he has scope to improve, now making his Kembla Grange debut. He tackled 1200m last start on the Beaumont Track at Newcastle when he suggested that 1400m is now ideal. 4. AUDENZIA - This lightly raced five-year-old presents third up and in search of a hat-trick after presenting here on her home track at both starts since a spell. She overcame a problem last week. A quicker back-up is now a plus. 2. SATNESS - He should not be harshly judged for his unplaced latest effort at Randwick when he was presented over this distance. He endured far too tough a run in transit on the day. He’s much better suited here at home base. 5. IVANA - There were excuses here last start. She hasn’t been to the Races (or the Trials) for seven weeks but in her case, there is no cause for concern. She is proven within this distance range when competing after a similar break.

Race 5 - 3:20PM WOLLONGONG CRANE TRUCKS COND. BM68 HANDICAP (1600 METRES)

1. EXTRAVAGANT CHOICE - He is a Canberra trained six-year-old who finished unplaced at his lone attempt so far here however, his effort was better than it appears on paper. He was dominant/ Orange/1600m last run. He should hold his form today. 6. MAH ALI - She was also an Acceptor for the Meeting to be held tomorrow at Nowra but this Race at home base was chosen as her most suitable target. She did all but win when she was presented here/1600m last Saturday. 4. WHACK ATTACK - He was presented third up in his second preparation when he stepped up to tackle this distance for the first time last start at Canberra. He led throughout on the day. He can have more to offer here. 5. DEVINE OUTCAST - This Kembla Grange based mare returns to home base fifth up. She is proven over this distance and her career best performance to date was achieved when she was competing fifth up last campaign/Hawkesbury/1600m.

Race 6 - 4:00PM ILLAWARRA PRODUCTION SERVICES SUPER MAIDEN (1300 METRES)

9. APERITAS - She was spelled before she Trialed twice late last year. She then stuck to her task in defeat when she made her debut last start/Gosford/1200m. She is likely to relish this more spacious circuit and a slightly longer distance. 11. DIVINE TIMING - Natural improvement should be made when she is produced today for a second time in her first campaign. She struck a traffic problem on debut/1100m at Goulburn last run when she suggested that 1300m already suits. 7. WATSON - He was spelled after there were excuses for his unplaced Wyong effort at his third start in his first preparation. He resumes today after Trialing twice and he can return improved at his first run as a gelding. 13. ROCKTHEVELIO - This Warwick Farm trained filly will concede Race-day experience to all when she presents on debut. She has however Trialed twice since a spell and she’s done enough in those Trials to be expected to cope in this Class.

Race 7 - 4:40PM PAUL LOVESMAN CLASS 1 HANDICAP (1300 METRES)

2. CAPTIVATING TYCOON - This Rosehill trained colt will attempt a slight and suitable distance rise here at his fourth start. He was kept fresh before he handed in a solid Gosford effort last start. He presents fresh again today. 5. DIVA LAS VEGAS - She was presented second up from a long spell and after an almost three week break when there were genuine excuses for her unplaced effort over 1200m last start at Gosford. Expect her to appreciate this journey. 9. GRAINNE - She opened her account first up at Wyong/1300m and on the day she beat a next start winner. She is now Race-fitter. 4. LIL GRUG - A quick back-up at home base can be ideal. His run here last week was better than it appears on paper.
