1. Autafinna is a six-year-old gelding that has only had two starts but has shown talent with a debut second at Taree being followed with another second at the same track when hitting the line in good style. He looks to have the ability to get away with this event. 5. Honeyhill has also finished second in each of her latest two starts and is a mare that shows staying talent. She should be thereabouts again here. 7. Reschs Milk was stepping out for her third race start when a last start third at Newcastle and she can get into the money again without surprising. 8. Royal Princess wasn’t beaten far when a last start fourth at Gunnedah and is far from the worst in this.
How to play it: Autafinna WIN.
Race 2 - 1:05PM SHAMROCK JOINERY MIDWAY CLASS 1 HANDICAP (1600 METRES)
---
1. Proxima Dea made her debut in Saturday city grade at Randwick and managed to score a narrow win at big odds. She raced on the speed in that event and there was plenty to like about the victory. 5. Powerful Prayer resumed with a fourth at Kembla Grange when beaten less than a length and can figure prominently with a repeat. 6. Sirius Moss comes into this after a last start success at Hawkesbury over a subsequent winner. 7. Olivia Mia was beaten favourite on the Acton track at Canberra last time out and shouldn’t be taken lightly.
How to play it: Proxima Dea WIN.
Race 3 - 1:40PM DELTACORP REMEDIAL SUPER MAIDEN HANDICAP (1100 METRES)

He is fresh again for this after a recent trial and is from a form stable with a string of recent victories. 2. In Circles has shown promise with a second and a fourth from just the two starts and bears close watching first-up. 10. Temptation is on debut and has looked good winning both barrier trials. 3. Capdiva can give cheek in a small field.

8. Acharnee showed potential in her initial preparation and has since resumed with a second at Gosford when beaten less than half a length. She’s an on-pace runner that should take running down. 3. Gus The Great has been placed in three of four starts and resumes from a spell after two trials. 4. Iniesta failed at Hawkesbury when resuming but can improve. 1. Caviar is resuming from a spell and bears close watching.
How to play it: Acharnee WIN.

2. Spartus attacked the line well to score a last start win at Wyong and only needs to run up to that effort to be hard to hold out again from the good gate. 1. Harlex was a winner at this track three starts ago and has been midfield in two Midway events since then. 4. Apollo Ridge has had two runs back from a spell and should be ready to peak. 5. Oceans One is also third-up from a spell and warrants thought from the inside draw.

4. Forest King won well on debut at Canterbury earlier in the year before tackling the Pago Pago Stakes at his second start when finishing seventh. He since resumed with a sixth at Rosehill against tougher opposition than this and gets his chance to bounce back. 2. Zubba Storm has hit his straps of late having won two in a row at Dubbo and Gunnedah. He’s drawn well and should be hitting the line well again. 6. Better Late is resuming and has won two of six, while 7. Onmalone has been racing well enough to be a factor in this.
How to play it: Forest King WIN.
Race 8 - 4:45PM COMBINED DEMOLITION SERVICES F&M BM64 HANDICAP (1200 METRES)

6. You’re The Choice was resuming from a spell at Canterbury when last produced and hit the line well in the straight to finish second. She has a handy record and should have derived benefit from that hitout and can go one better here. 4. I’m Super is talented and has three wins from seven starts and can handle the rise in class from the inside gate. 1. Grinzinger Pod resumed with a third at Gosford and looks to have place claims again here. 2. Ivy Diva is a last start winner that has place claims.
