Tennessee Dolly ($2.80) debuted with a fourth at Gosford and looms as the danger with a repeat of that. 8. Opetaia ($26) ran well enough when fifth on debut at Wyong and has claims on that effort. 4. Sahara Splash ($14) is a mare on debut and has trialled well recently.

11. CHIX ($1.95 fav) is on debut and has had three recent trials to be fitted for this and performed well in each of them. She looks to have the ability to make a winning debut. 8. Barking Mad ($4.20) has had three starts and hasn’t been disgraced in any of them despite being unplaced in each run. 8. Zoysia ($15) resumes after more than a year away from racing and bears close watching. 5. Knights ($16) is an I Am Invincible colt making his debut here. He had a trial in June and has had another two recent trials at Warwick Farm in preparation for this.

4. FEDERAL RESERVE ($1.90 fav) has had two starts back from a spell and has performed well in each of them with a third at this track being followed by a second at Newcastle. He looks to be on the up and this looks a nice race for him to break through in. 8. Gloria ($3.70) ran well when making her debut with a third at Wyong and she can figure prominently again. 7. Gemtiki ($10) finished third on debut at Newcastle and warrants respect again on that effort. 5. Still Rising ($11) is on debut and shouldn’t be taken lightly.

4. AHELLBENDA ($1.70 fav) has performed well in two runs back from a spell and looks set to peak here after running home well at Gosford last time out. 7. Grey Secret ($3.70) is resuming from a spell having been down the track at Kembla Grange when last produced. 6. Fast Blue ($5.50) is a last start Kempsey winner that can show up again. 8. Kahraba ($9.50) is resuming from a spell and has place claims in this small field.

2. HOW MUCH BETTER ($4.80) ran fifth at Canterbury back in August and then was spelled. He had two trials before resuming with a close-up third at Gosford when hitting the line well and the step up in distance here should be ideal. 4. Atelier ($3.20 fav) has a good record with three wins and two seconds from just the eight starts. She’s first-up from a spell here on the back of two barrier trials and should be primed to run a bold race fresh. 5. Aroha Stone ($4.80) was a Rosehill placegetter before being spelled and she’s performed well in two trials in preparation. Has a good good overall record and should be prominent. 6. Edge Of Midnight ($7) has won in good style in his latest two starts at Port Macquarie and Taree and should be hitting the line well again.

How to play it: How Much Better EACH-WAY

1. TRUE AMOR ($1.95 fav) resumes from a spell here having finished fifth at Doomben behind Spywire in August. He won at Wyong two starts before that and finished second at Wyong before the Doomben effort. He’s a talented son of I Am Invincible and can return as a winner in this. 3. Grey Effects ($4.40) won well at Coffs Harbour back in September and has been attacking the line well of late having finished in the placings in his latest three starts at Port Macquarie, Doomben and Kempsey. He should be hitting the line hard again here. 4. Smart Serenade ($4.40) has been racing well with a Taree win being followed by placings at Muswellbrook and Hawkesbury. 5. Savoca ($7) has been thereabouts of late with a fourth at this track being followed by a last start fourth at Scone.
