Find out what the jockeys made of their mounts after the Group 3 $150,000 Arrowfield Breeders’ Plate (1000m) at Royal Randwick.
Regan Bayliss (Flying Houdini): “Bone and muscle. He’s a streetfighter. I knew if I could find the front today, nothing would get past him. They’d come to him, but he’s just pin his ears back and go right through the line.
“Adrian and Gai and the stable have done a terrific job of just ticking him over and keeping his mind in the right place.
“I came off the fence, it’s not ideal on a two-year-old. You lose your advantage coming off and being out there, but to his credit, once he straightened up and I switched the stick over, he really quickened well and his last hundred was the best part of his race.”

Zac Lloyd (Capitano): “He is a 2yo. He is sharp. I think he will progress on. He has a great attitude. Will get stronger. A little weak that last 100m. Great run.”
Jason Collett (Nonu): “Ran great.”
Winona Costin (Chasing Archer): “Had to do a bit of work early. He stuck to task well early. Will improve heaps from that.”
Chad Schofield (Comino): “Didn’t take part.”
Molly Bourke (Lead The Charge): “That is a starting point. He is obviously going to get further in time.”
Braith Nock (Lucky Eighteen): “Began well. Struggled to stay in it from the 800m but I think he will be a next prep horse.”
Adam Hyeronimus (Stasis): “Nice horse. Still immature.”
