Race 1 - 11:45AM HRC MOTEL PROVINCIAL MAIDEN HANDICAP (1300 METRES) |
---|
1. Afloat has been placed in two of his four starts. He was spelled after a second at Kembla Grange and resumes here on the back of two barrier trials, finishing in the placings in each of them at Warwick Farm and Rosehill. He looks poised to sprint well fresh here. 3. Tambeloa is a Tagaloa colt that debuted with a third in a small field at Newcastle. He can figure prominently here with the benefit of that experience. 4. Zougotime is on debut after four trials in total. He ran fourth in the latest of them at this track. 8. Share The Joy is resuming from a spell and was placed in a trial at this track in preparation.
How to play it: Afloat WIN.
Race 2 - 12:25PM BLAKES MARINE MAIDEN PLATE (1500 METRES) |
---|
9. Tequisoda had a number of trials before making his debut with a second at Wyong. He was only beaten a little over 1.5 lengths in that event and looks suited by the step up to 1500m. 7. The Cristal ran fifth at Orange at her only start at Orange late last year and could be placed here, while 2. The Iron Star has the ability to run into the money. 6. Painted Wings has only had two starts and could show up in this small field without surprising.
How to play it: Tequisoda WIN.
Race 3 - 1:05PM ST JOHNS PARK BOWLING CLUB CG&E MAIDEN PLATE (1100 METRES) |
---|
9. Powerhouse has had three trials in total and two recently in preparation for his first start here. He ran second in the latest of them at Warwick Farm and has the advantage of barrier one in this. 7. Gladstone Grange debuted with a sixth of six in the Kirkham Plate at Randwick last October. He resumes here after a couple of trials. 5. Disparate is an I Am Invincible colt on debut after four trials, including two recent hitouts. 6. Don’t What Me won the latest of his trials leading into this debut and bears close watching.
How to play it: Powerhouse WIN.
Race 4 - 1:45PM XXXX GOLD F&M MAIDEN PLATE (1100 METRES) |
---|
4. Vanlee is a Joseph Pride trained filly that ran well when finishing third behind Dyami at Warwick Farm at her second run back from a spell. She is yet to miss a place from three starts and has drawn ideally in barrier one. 6. Zing To Me ran an improved race when a last start second at this track and should figure in the finish again. 9. Vidia is making her debut and has shown enough in her trials to be rated a chance, while 5. Yvette disappointed when resuming but can improve.
How to play it: Vanlee WIN.
Race 5 - 2:25PM GODOLPHIN LIFETIME CARE CLASS 1 & MAIDEN PLATE (2000 METRES) |
---|
2. Unusual Prospect did the job well when resuming from a spell with an easy Gosford victory. He followed that up with a disappointing sixth as favourite at this track. He drops back in grade for this and can bounce back to winning form. 3. So You Ready won at Gosford before a Scone second and a fourth at Grafton. 9. Entitlement has been placed in each of her latest two starts and can get into the minor money again. 1. Cosmos Factory has had two runs back from a spell and looks set to peak in this event.
How to play it: Unusual Prospect WIN.
Race 6 - 3:05PM ESSENTIAL ASSET & FIRE BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP (1500 METRES) |
---|
3. Noises is first-up from a spell after two trials. She took on better class races last spring including the Spring Champion Stakes and VRC Oaks. She is suited by the 1500m fresh and can sprint well fresh. 6. Oh Golly Gosh won well here at her latest start and warrants respect if she can repeat that effort. 9. Storm Park strips fitter for a resuming sixth at Wyong and bears close watching. 8. Magic Pharoah is resuming for a new stable after two trials and is worth including.
How to play it: Noises EACH WAY.
Race 7 - 3:45PM GODOLPHIN MIDWAY BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP (1300 METRES) |
---|
3. Sunset Park is a well performed mare with two wins to her name from just the four starts. She scored at Kembla Grange and then this track at her second and third runs before a fourth here and then being spelled. She’s performed well in two trials leading into this but has drawn wide. 5. Just A Brother is handy at best and is a last start Parkes Cup placegetter. 7. My Phar Lady is resuming after two trials and has shown enough talent in her career to be rated a chance. 8. Orthie’s Boys won at Goulburn before a last start fourth at Gosford and is racing well enough to give this a shake.
How to play it: Sunset Park WIN.
Race 8 - 4:20PM CLARENDON TAVERN BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP (1100 METRES) |
---|
1. Dyami is lightly raced with four starts to his name but has a win and two placings, including the last start victory in a small field at Warwick Farm. He has a big weight to contend with but looks to have the upside to be able to go on with the job. 5. Against The Law hit the line well to finish second at this track when resuming from a spell and he should be prominent again. 8. Honey Perfume has been racing well with four placings since winning at Goulburn. She warrants respect again. 10. Sweet Future resumes after two trials and bears close watching.
How to play it: Dyami WIN.
