Interstate Stewards Extracts - Randwick - Saturday

Race 1 Number 5 – Lord Cecil - Jumped away awkwardly. Approaching and leaving the 1000m had to be steadied away from heels. Raced wide throughout. Cast an off hind plate in running. (Gold Coast 6/5/17)

Race 1 Number 10 – Cruze - Difficult to load into the barriers. Trainer B. Lockwood was advised that a warning would be placed on the horse. Slow to begin. Steadied from heels approaching the 1000m. Raced wide. (Sunshine Coast 30/4/17)

Race 2 Number 3 – Conniving - Trainer advised that the horse would be ridden off the speed. The horse settled behind the leaders. (Ipswich 10/5/17)

Race 3 Number 9 – Mandalay Bay - Jumped awkwardly making contact with the side of the barriers. (Sandown Hillside 10/5/17)

Race 3 Number 13 – The Harrovian - Rider reported that in his opinion the colt would be better suited when stepping up in distance. (Geelong 30/4/17)

Race 6 Number 1 – Nudierudie - Raced wide without cover throughout. (Gold Coast 6/5/17)

Race 8 Number 2 – The Monstar - Near the 600m had to be steadied when tightened for room. Bumped rounding the home turn. Raced wide with cover throughout. (Doomben 13/5/17)

Race 8 Number 9 – Madotti - Slow to begin. Near the 800m had to be steadied when forced to race in restricted room. Raced wide from the 700m onwards. Bumped on a number of occasions in the home straight. (Gold Coast 6/5/17)
