Vale Mr Harry Williams (Funeral Details)
Racing NSW has been informed of the passing of former jockey and trainer Harry Williams, aged 83.
A former champion jockey in the Western Districts between the 1960s and 1980s, he won many premierships in the area as stable rider in Coonamble for John Lundholm.
When retired from the saddle, Harry trained with success in the Coonamble area and the Hawkesbury.
He is the father of well known Goulburn trainer Danny Williams and grandfather of jockey Reece Potter, son of his daughter Vicki, who passed away in 2011.
NOTE: Harry's funeral will be held at Goulburn Racecourse on Thursday 17th September at 11am.
