2. Spenzalot can bounce back from an unplaced effort in the Grafton Cup Prelude where he had a torrid run in transit. Had previously swept home here to win a similar grade as this, and is the quality stayer at this level. 1. Ring Ahoy was good late from the back in that same Cup Prelude, and can hit the line again. Gap to the rest headed by 3. Macleay who is honest enough around this level and draws to get cover; while 5. Rhinestone Lad is a big fourth-up improver dropping down from provincial grade.

How to play it: Spenzalot to win

10. Quick Dip is a two-year-old by Headwater on debut for the Rodney Northam stable at Scone. Prepared with a smart heavy track trial win, and drawn to get an economical run. 8. Big Lon is an emerging two-year-old trained on the course, and will be hard to hold out second-up after missing by a whisker here three weeks back. Hard to see anything else winning, although both 9. Fioggia, a home track juvenile by Acrobat, and 7. Staccato, with the benefit of race experience fourth-up, can both boost exotic returns.

How to play it: Quick Dip to win

11. Trapeazy is a lightly raced filly from the Annabel and Rob Archibald yard who can open her account at only third start. Was backed from $4.80 into $3.70 when disappointing fresh here from an awkward gate, but draws to get a softer run this time with a far stronger rider aboard, and further boosted with the main market rival coming out. 4. Not Mee showed plenty of speed second-up before dropping out, but better placed this time ridden a little more conservatively, with a superior jockey taking over. 2. Albert's Pick is on a four day back-up after dropping out at Quirindi. Gap to the rest.

How to play it: Trapeazy to win

9. Southerly Buster is a progressive staying type who finds a very winnable race second-up over a shade further, importantly with blinkers back on. Missed narrowly in a handy provincial BM 64 over 2300m to close out last prep before tackling a tougher CL3 Highway, and making up late ground from the back. Back in the country and settling a bit closer in a smaller field, he can produce a superior final 400m burst under a light weight. 3. Visualise is a tough home tracker peaking second-up and staying at the mile. Was in and around the money up to BM 85 level last prep, then ran home late behind a smart winner here when resuming. 7. Zamborghini steps up sharply in distance third-up after rattling home late in a good quality sprint. 2. Fulmen Filou is over the odds at his pet trip; while 4. Like Lukey is a big improver back on firmer going.

How to play it: Southerly Buster to win

7. Strasbelle is an improving filly who can peak fourth-up from a sound draw in what is now a very weak race. 8. Czech Her Out is deep into the campaign, with a senior jockey back on; while 6. Northern Eagle is trained on the course, and the best of the rest.

2. Deebo hit the line impressively second-up behind a dominant winner. A little more depth in this race, and the stablemate coming out is a key pointer. 5. Imperial State is also trained here, and was good late from a tricky draw in a CL1 at this track. Drawn even wider this time, but Aaron Bullock staying on is potentially worth lengths. 3. Yiasou has led all the way to win his last two, and draws inside, but facing some smarter ones. 1. Oenology has only missed a place once in five starts at home, but has to overcome a tough draw; while 7. Smart Buy is the best of the rest.

How to play it: Deebo to win

8. Lyon is hard fit from a strong Scone stable. Flashed home to beat a smart one when winning his maiden, and only wants a clear run over the final 350m to go on his merry way. 7. Son Of Eureka is a big improver second-up. 10. Reprisal gets much needed weight relief third-up. 2. Master Gee and 6. The Dux Nuts can both add plenty of value into trifecta and first fours.

How to play it: Lyon to win

5. Not Written Off is a progressive mare who tracked the speed third-up before edging home to win narrowly. Up in grade, but stays at the trip, and Bullock taking over in the saddle from a 2kg claimer is huge. 4. Speck is a progressive mare building a very tidy record. Charged home to miss the top selection by a nose when returning for her first run since last spring, and a senior jockey has been booked. 3. Enterprise Legend is each-way value fourth-up and coming back from a deeper BM 82. Local mare 9. Super Sioux is second-up with a big weight drop for this tougher test, and 10. My Name Is third-up from the fence draw, is the best of the rest.
