Selections based on a heavy track

4. Casa Mia is a filly on debut that has had one trial leading into this. She managed to score in that hitout by a narrow margin and looks primed to run well here. 2. Immortal Storm has been placed in each of four starts and only needs to maintain that form to run boldly again. 3. Markwell Topsport trialled at Taree before debuting with a second at Coffs Harbour and looms as a contender against these. 6. King’s Eye is having her first start and looked good when narrowly beaten in a recent trial at Ballina.

5. Sunvolt has been placed on three of four starts and wasn’t far away when fourth at this track last time out. 6. Cherry Jubilee will find this easier than a last start fourth of four on the Kensington track at Randwick. 2. He Is The Kiss has been racing well with some recent placings and should be prominent again. 3. In And Away has the ability to make an impact.

6. Alabama Girl has been midfield in her past two starts and her form before that was sound. 4. Castel Trosino was placed at Grafton when last produced and warrants respect. 5. Redadel is a last start Tuncurry winner and is racing well enough to show up. 3. Rock The Machine had been racing well before a last start failure and can lift again here.

1. Foxy Artist has had two starts back from a spell and finished third in each of them at Grafton. He’s knocking on the door for a win and gets his chance to score here. 11. Soofree ran third at this track when last produced and has bright prospects. 5. Moonlight Diva is a last start placegetter that warrants respect. 6. Play It Cool looks an improver.

5. High Voltage was a Kempsey winner on debut in December and then ran third at this track on heavy ground before being spelled. She’s had a Taree trial in preparation for this return. 3. Australasia hit the line well when a last start second here and can be in the thick of things again. 7. Beearetee is handy at best and can give cheek. 4. Permission Denied is lightly raced and shouldn’t be taken lightly.

2. Baby Ryan is a handy performer that ran second in a qualifier here before finishing down the track in the Country Championships at Randwick. He bounced back to winning form here last time out when attacking the line well and is set to go on with the job. 1. Resurrected won at Ballina before a last start sixth at the same track. He can be prominent against these. 3. Supreme Command ran fourth behind Baby Ryan when last produced and has place claims. 4. House Of Cards resumed for a new stable with a sixth at Grafton and can figure here on best form.

1. Zou Big Boy has been placed in his latest two starts and comes into this after a recent trial. He was formerly trained by Tony Gollan and has a good record with three wins from 17 starts. 8. Whatsthetimemrwolf ran home well to score at this track when last produced and warrants thought. 4. Gavin wasn’t too far away at Port Macquarie when last produced and can be placed. 3. Mammoth Mountain failed to fire at Grafton last time out but was a winner at this track before that in heavy conditions.

Lolita also comes here after a last start win at this track and bears close watching. 9. Vetoed resumes from a spell and has an excellent first-up record. 10. Evil Lover resumed with an Armidale win and must be included among the chances again.

Fall For Autumn has finished second in two of his last three starts and can give cheek again. 1. In The Fine Print returns from a break in this and had consistent form before the spell. He can sprint well fresh. 4. Tribbiani is resuming from a spell and was racing well before the break.
