Jake Duffy Appeal - Tuesday 8 January

Licensed jockey Jake Duffy has lodged an appeal against conviction and penalty after being found guilty by Racing NSW Stewards under AR137(a) after his ride on Regal Reece in Race 7 (3 Course Carvery Every Sunday Class 1 & Maiden Plate, 1600m) at Corowa Racecourse on Sunday, 30 December 2018.

Following a Stewards inquiry that day, Mr Duffy was suspended for a period commencing Sunday, 6 January 2019 and to expire on Tuesday, 15 January 2019 on which day he may ride.

This Appeal is set to be heard by the Southern Districts Racing Association on Tuesday, 8 January 2019 commencing at 1pm in the Stewards' room, Wagga Wagga Racecourse.
