Trainer Mr K Davison has notified Racing NSW Stewards that following the SDRA Country Championship Qualifier at Wagga Wagga on Saturday 28 February 2026, Autumn Break was found to have swelling under its right eye.

Mr Davison advised that as a result it is not currently his intention for the horse to contest the Southern Country Championships Wild Card at Goulburn on Sunday 22 March 2026.

Mr Davison did advise however that if Autumn Break was to make the field for the Country Championships Final at Royal Randwick on 4 April 2026, as the emergency runner for the SDRA, it would be his intention to run the horse in the race.
